Emergency Centers

This program marks the beginning of the protection process, and is located in “Casa Corazones” and “Albachiara” in Bogota.

Here we offer immediate comprehensive care to children and adolescents who have been found in the streets with problems of psychoactive substance use, abuse, neglect, commercial sexual exploitation and linkage to child labor among other problems. Collectively in both locations, there is a capacity for 73 children and adolescents, and each year we care for 1,800 boys and girls.

After a joint interdisciplinary diagnosis with ICBF social workers and defenders they are then referred to specific programs depending on their identified problem.
